About the program: The Family Service Program assists families
and individuals who need clothing and household furnishings and are unable to
purchase them. Hot meals at noon are served to those in need. Bags of groceries
may also be available. Limited assistance with transportation, rent, medical, and
utility needs is offered. Home visitation and supportive services, especially for
single parent families, are provided. Baby layettes containing all new clothing,
diapers, and used furniture for babies are available for the newborn.
