About the program: The Men's Shelter program seeks to provide
shelter, food, and clothing for homeless men--transients, local homeless,
low-income, and those released from the prison system--offering a Biblically- based
program with counseling and supportive assistance for drug and alcohol abusers. A
work therapy program with some job training is also available. We respond to those
with spiritual needs, to the needs of those recovering from addiction, to those who
need education, employment training, life management, etc. We provide referrals for
some physical health needs and mental health needs.
During the holidays the Muncie Mission provides meals to low-income families in
the community as well as to those individuals who visit the mission.
