About the program: The Muncie Public Library provides books (300,000+), magazines, compact discs (12,000), videotapes (20,000), audiotapes (7,500), CD-ROMs, newspapers, and laser discs, etc. Programs are available for pre-schoolers, school-age children, and adults. Information is offered about careers, financial aid, community and civic organizations, and how to use the library's resources. Computer Learning Centers at Carnegie and Kennedy Libraries are open to the public and offer computer classes. Homebound customers are served by Doorstep Delivery (747-8214), 1700 W. McGalliard Road. The Cybermobile offers computer training throughout the community and may be contacted at 747-8209. The Local History/Genealogy center may be contacted at 747-8208.
