About the program: This service* is available to residents or
transients to provide emergency transportation in the event of a death or medical
emergency of a family member in another city or state. Bus or train tickets may be
provided (whichever is least expensive). Before assistance is rendered, all
pertinent information must be verified by someone at the scene of the emergency.
In cases of domestic violence emergency transportation is available to move the
individual to a safer location.
*Subject to the availabiltiy of funds and local access to a ticket agent.
