Eligibility requirements: Eviction notice or notice of
foreclosure. Assistance is provided once per six-month period.
Intake Procedure: Picture ID for HH; Soc. Sec. cards for all HH
members; documentation of monthly income and expenses.
Area Served: Delaware County
About the program: A partial payment may be made toward the
rent or mortgage payment of anyone facing eviction or foreclosure. This aid is
available once every six months. Before The Salvation Army will pledge a payment,
clients will be expected to show proof that the remaining amount will be paid.
The Salvation Army does not help with deposits.
