About the program: The Independent Adoption Center, affiliated
with the National Federation for Open Adoption Education, has pioneered the field of
open adoptions. The center, a licensed agency, provides all services necessary for
completing an open adoption, including outreach services targeting birthparents,
professional and peer counseling services for all parties, and support groups
serving clients in all stages of the adoption process.
