Recreation Services
Fees: $400 for one week; $675 for two weeks. Some scholarships
are available.
Eligibility requirements: Ages 8 and older with mental and/or
physical disability. Delaware County residents; some funds for Madison & Henry Co
Intake Procedure: Reservations are given on a first come, first
serve basis and depend upon proper completion of an application.

About the program: A summer resident camp is provided for
children from age eight into adulthood who have physical or mental disabilities.
The camp includes weatherized cabins, a heated pool, an outdoor camp area, and an
accessible fishing pier. Arts and crafts, nature and wildlife study, swimming,
fishing, campfires, sleep-outs, games, dances, music, drama, special interest and
discussion groups, visiting groups, leisure activities, social organization, and a
low ropes challenge course are all offered in a rural setting.
The staff ratio to client varies. A nurse is on duty at all times, as well as
certified lifeguards and counselors. Sessions are divided into age categories.
There is also a Ropes Challenge Course.
Accessibility: Designated parking, indoor wheel chair access, &
outside ramps
Transportation: Transportation to camp activities from Isanogel
is provided.
