About the program: The United Day Care Center of Delaware
County provides quality, licensed child care and early childhood education. The
Center-based program serves pre-schoolers ages two and a half through six the year
round and school-age children--six to nine--during the summer months. The Center
also sponsors and monitors licensed family day-care homes. Home providers serve
children between the ages of six weeks and 12 years of age on a full-time or
part-time basis. Some evening care is available in some homes. Center and homes
accept child-care connections vouchers and other child-care funding. Title XX and
CCDF assistance are available on a limited basis for both the center and the home
program.
The center is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young
Children (NAEYC).
